Oil and Gas

Ronald currently works as an Independent Consultant to the international oil and gas E&P and shipping industries. He also acts as Special Consultant to major groups in energy-related private equity and asset investment.
Ronald has over 40 years technical and commercial experience in energy-related E&P activities including offshore production, energy shipping, port infrastructure and storage in South America, Southern Africa and Europe. He qualified in the UK with a Civil Engineering degree and became a licensed Professional Engineer in Canada after joining Parsons Brinckerhoff (PB) in Hamilton and New York in 1969. Since then he has worked with PB in the Caribbean and South America, with United Technologies in Brazil, and within the Oil Industry in oil & gas shipping, petro-chemicals, gas-to-liquids, liquid natural gas, and E&P projects for international oil companies both in Brazil until 1980 and then in South Africa until 2005.
Moving to Jersey in 2005, Ronald became an Independent Consultant and has advised on oil & gas tanker shipping, oil and gas storage and terminals, design of LNG FPSOs, and  LPG port and storage facilities. He has also advised foreign Governments on energy security and consulted on junior oil company AIM listings for US on-shore oil & gas assets.
A British national, Ronald is resident in Jersey, Channel Islands, and speaks English, Portuguese (Brazilian), and working French.
