Investor Communications

Dan is a successful private investor and freelance consultant on investment and investment marketing with a deep knowledge of financial markets and the asset management industry having held both senior marketing and investment positions during his 11 years at Gartmore Investment Management. He currently advises a number of the UK’s largest asset managers on investment communication and marketing.
 
Dan started his career as on options market maker for Nations-CRT on the floor of LIFFE. In 1997, he joined Gartmore focusing on the institutional market. Dan was soon promoted to Head of Investment Communications and was responsible for the key investment messages delivered around the business, to the media and across all sales channels. He held this position for five years. In 2006, Dan became a fund manager within Gartmore's UK equity large cap team where he managed a number of institutional long-only mandates, as well as being responsible for options strategies for Gartmore's UK equity hedge funds.
 
Dan studied English Language and Literature at Loughborough University and holds the IMC.
